The artist, Virginia Travers was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and was educated in both California and Great Britain. In 1975, she moved to Almunecar, Spain in The Costa del Sol, where she opened her own craft gallery. Returning to California in the 1990’s, Virginia developed her own form of Mediterranean folk art. Her paintings reflect this style, and communicate her love of travel and the sea.

When Virginia is not selling her art work at street markets and art shows in California, she is busy working on film projects. She is a member of the Screen Actors Guild and has worked in front of and behind the camera on over 20 films. With her interest in producing films, she started a film management, development, and production company named Lunaventure. To view the Lunaventure website click here.
